Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world and will overtake Christianity as the most popular before the end of this century, according to an analysis of religious surveys published Tuesday by the Pew Research Center.
With 1.6 billion, Muslims made up 23 percent of the world’s population, according to a 2010 Pew estimate. That figure was still some way short of the 2.2 billion Christians which comprised 31 percent of the population.
However, by 2050 there could be near parity between the numbers of adherents of the two religions for the first time in history. The reasons for this rapid growth are thought to be the greater number of children Muslims have compared to other religious groups and the comparatively young age of Muslims.
The largest percentage of Muslims are currently in the Asia-Pacific region, rather than the Middle East and North Africa. Indonesia currently has the largest number of Muslims of any country, but that title could be taken by India by 2050. By that point, it is also projected that Muslims will also make up 10 percent of Europe’s population.
There has been growing discussion in recent months about the number of Muslims in Europe. Far-right, anti-Islam politicians have risen to prominence in a number of countries off the back of calling for a halting of immigration. In Germany, Chancellor Angela Merkel has faced growing criticism for allowing one million migrants into the country in the past two years.
But a recent study showed that Europeans vastly overestimate the size of the Muslim population in their country. In France, people believed that the Muslim population was as large as 31 percent when in reality it is 7.5 percent.
The same pattern was evident in the United States. Americans believed the U.S. population of Muslims stood at 17 percent, rather than the real number of just 1 percent. That number, too, is expected to grow, however. Muslims will make up 2.1 percent of the U.S. population by 2050, according to Pew Research Center demographic projections.

The Great Deception: Why Is NASA Suddenly Using Discovery of 7 Earth-Sized Planets as Promotion for Alien Life ?
Autocratic & Largely Anti-Trump EU Parliament Elites Crack Down on "Hate Speech" & Already Heavily Limited Free Speech
February 27th, 2017
NASA told us in advance that there would be a huge announcement on Wednesday, and it certainly was not a disappointment. NASA’s declaration that 7 new Earth-sized planets had been discovered approximately 40 light years away from our sun made headlines all over the globe, and the Internet immediately started buzzing with lots of discussions about the possibility that these newly discovered worlds may have life on them.
This isn’t the kind of thing that I normally write about on The Economic Collapse Blog, but some of the things that were being said by the scientists involved in this discovery seemed quite odd. It is one thing to say that some new planets have been found, but it is another thing entirely to start speculating about life on those planets. With each new discovery that is made, why does it always seem like NASA is trying to promote the idea that alien life may exist somewhere out there? Could it be possible that they are trying to mentally prepare us for something?
After the announcement was made on Wednesday, I went to the official NASA website, and sure enough in the article that had just been posted about this new discovery, there was a discussion about the possibility of alien life.
If this discovery is confirmed, it is definitely quite remarkable.
But why engage in speculation about whether or not we are alone in the universe?
You can view a YouTube video from NASA about this new discovery right here. As you can see from the video, the scientists involved in this project are extremely excited…
Of course, we must acknowledge that nobody has actually seen any of these planets. Based on data that astronomers have been able to observe, they assume that those seven planets must be there.
To detect these other worlds, Gillon and his team used the so-called “transit” method, one of several techniques for hunting planets. Other techniques include measuring the wobble of a star caused by a planet’s gravitational pull, observing how light from a distant star bends around a planet or capturing a direct image of the planet.
The power of the transit method comes from its simplicity: Astronomers measure the level of light from a star, and look for any dips in brightness that could be the result of a planet passing between the star and Earth. By seeing how much and how often the level of light is reduced during each “transit” of the planet in front of the star, astronomers can then estimate its size and orbit.
So it is entirely possible that scientists may be misinterpreting the data.
Someday we may find out that there are more planets in the system, or we may discover that there aren’t any planets there at all.
But assuming that those planets are actually there, what has astronomers buzzing more than anything else is the possibility that they may contain “life”
And of course, NASA is not just looking at these planets in their obsessive search for alien life.
In fact, NASA is sending a probe to one of Jupiter’s moons named Europa specifically to search for alien life
So why is NASA so sure that alien life must be out there somewhere?
Do they know things that they aren’t disclosing to the rest of us?
As a society, we are constantly being conditioned to the idea that “alien life” must exist. This is one of the major themes in our movies, our television shows, and our video games.
And now the scientific community has fully embraced this idea.
Could it be possible that the stage is being set for “the great deception” that authors such as L.A. Marzulli are constantly warning us about?

Practitioners of the occult, nationwide, plan on casting a mass, national witchcraft spell against the President, beginning Friday night....but, there may be a very serious problem for the witches who participate....
By Barry Secrest
That Donald Trump was elected into office by a large number of Christians, Evangelicals, and even Catholics is no secret; in fact, one of the major talking points of the left-wing media within its often contemptible attitude towards Christianity could be heard night in and night out, during the 2016 election.
But now, an even more powerful exoneration of the Christian vote for Trump is being played out across America, in the form of practitioners of the occult who plan on casting a mass, nationwide spell against the President, beginning Friday night.
The story, from Elle magazine, illustrates that the dark forces of witchcraft and neo-paganism, which chiefly operate via connections to unnatural and often dark spirits, in addition to the radical media and the progressive movements, are even now arraying themselves fully against Donald Trump. States Elle:
"Those who don't like Donald Trump and the current Republican administration are mobilizing in all sorts of ways. They're speaking up in town halls and calling their representatives. They're organizing protests and demonstrations.
And, for the magically-inclined, they're casting spells.
Starting at midnight on Friday, witches around the country are calling for a mass spell to be cast on Donald Trump every night of a waning crescent moon until he's driven from office."
So, is Donald Trump in danger of being Driven from office by dark forces gathered by the often demonically-inspired militant left?
While the precepts of Neopaganism might seem nutty enough, many believe that the modern neopagan movement marks at least one facet of what the Bible refers to as "the great falling away" from the Christian belief system, which ushered in the modern era.
Some refer to this mixing in of the old world belief systems as spiritism, and a good many people across the West have increasingly come under its spell prompting what the Catholic church has referred to as a plague of demonic possession not seen in modern times.
As with all things of the occult, practitioners of the dark arts always leave themselves open to unclean spirits bent upon doing more harm than good. Whether it be Tarot, which is practiced by the New Age ringleader, in this case, Michael Hughes, or Ouija, which is controlled by a very powerful spirit that frequently opens homes up to extremely negative spiritual occupations, the casting of a spell against a specific individual more often than not leaves the spellcaster open to even more negative causation and, sometimes, even a boomerang effect.
This old world belief system, today, takes on many names including pagan, neo-druidism, Wicca, occultism, and certainly, even many new age influences encompassing the basic tenets of globalism's Gaia, a Goddess also worshiped and referred to as Mother Earth.
Gaia worshipers, by the way, represent a central core of the modern environmental movement as allied closely with the Democrat party which more often than not considers Christianity and its followers as mortal enemies.
This, all in all, might more easily explain the acidic political culture evolving in America and across the West, experienced in 2015 and 2016. There's also that case of the Democrat Party's booing of God as a part of the Democrat party platform, challenged at the 2012 Democrat convention, as held in Charlotte, NC.
However, more and more, it seems, we can begin to see the invisible battle lines taking shape, across a range of agendas, and while some might believe spiritism as complete nonsense, virtually any respectable preacher, pastor, or priest will counsel any individual that inquires not to dabble with dark forces of magic, the occult, or spiritualism, and under no uncertain terms.
To this end, according to Elle, once again:
Interestingly enough, Hughs initially tells the reporter of this story, only a few paragraphs up, that the spell that the Wiccans were crafting to unleash on Trump will be an attempt to have him "driven from office."
So, which is it? A binding spell, as later stated, or a reverse dark exorcism-purging of the White House, eliminating Trump, by virtue of demonic spiritual forces?
Moreover, we already appear to be running into some bit of incoherence as to what the spell is intended to accomplish, which is really not all that surprising, regarding the forces these individuals are allied with, so which is it, once again?
Back to Elle, in at least one other partial explanation:
The ritual itself is pretty standard magic working, binding Trump from doing harm to others and to himself, rather than asking any forces to do harm to him. There are objects to represent the elements and to represent Trump himself. The tarot card of the Tower represents ambitions built on lies, which are struck down by a lightning flash of truth. For those who believe in witchcraft, it looks to be an effective spell.
However, even for those who don't, the ritual can have meaning.
Witches have gathered to create spells for social justice before, whether it was to hex convicted rapist Brock Turner or exorcise the Pentagon. "My feeling was people were feeling so helpless in the face of all this," said Hughes, who sees the ritual, as much as anything, as a self-exorcism. "So many of us are overwhelmed by this guy's face, this energy―it's ever present and beating a lot of us down. I see this as a way of people reclaiming their own power...it's not just that we can stop him, but we can expunge him from ourselves."
As is always typical with the forces of the occult, whether it be Satanists or Luciferians or Wiccans or neo-pagans, there will always be a significant darkness associated with their manipulation of what is sometimes also referred to as "The Old Gods"
While they may portray their brand of witchcraft as white, it all springs, in fact, from the same spiritual forces that were repeatedly warned against in both the Old and New Testaments of the Christian Bible.
But, there may even be a greater power at work which could have the anti-Trump pagan practitioners in the bulls-eye of a powerful force that they might not have anticipated.
There are those in the evangelical world who believe that Trump’s ascendancy marks a time in American history that could pale all other economic & spiritual expansions, by comparison.
God, states their message from a modern day prophecy, will not allow his church & its signatory nation to be taken over by the powerful globalist anti-Christs, that are even now proliferating throughout the world & from within our own government while simultaneously leaving the nation of Israel heavily exposed.
The documentary, by the Evangelical movement, states that a prophecy delivered by God to an evangelical Christian’s experience, as documented from 2011, in addition to several other prophetical events from various religious and business leaders across the planet, uncannily predicted that Trump would be elected as President.
So, the Evangelicals were, in this case, indeed, right about their predictions; so, then, what happens, if their prophecy holds true when a mass coven of witches cast a spell against a man who, many solemnly believe, has been anointed by the most powerful force in the universe?
Regardless of all, it's been said that you can tell a lot about a man by his enemies, so....
